One of the most important features of our work is that it is 100% volunteer-based. No one here does this work for a fee. We are not supported by large corporations or funded by large organizations. Rather, we are a group of people who decided that kindness, compassion, and human connection are important enough to generously give of their time and energy.
Most of us have jobs, studies, and personal responsibilities. Some of us are parents, some are students, and some work long hours in demanding jobs. Yet, despite our busy schedules, we make time to be here—because we know it matters.
